Version: creator-payout-v1
Operational draft - publish and obtain legal review before broad paid creator onboarding.
These Creator Marketplace Terms supplement the Hoyro Terms of Service for creators who submit paid training programs. They define the creator payout workflow used by the app and should be published at the creator terms URL before paid creator onboarding.
Paid Programs
Creators may set an asking price for a program. All customer purchases are completed through Apple In-App Purchase at an Apple-supported localized price. Hoyro may review, reject, suspend, or remove a paid listing from new sales for safety, quality, rights, compliance, or operational reasons.
Customers who previously purchased a program retain access except where Apple revokes or refunds the transaction, or access must be restricted for legal or safety reasons.
Creator Share
The app calculates a creator share from the program purchase price after the Apple commission and Hoyro platform share configured by Hoyro. Amounts displayed before payment are calculated balances, not a guarantee of final settlement.
Hoyro must publish or otherwise disclose the applicable platform share, treatment of Apple commissions, taxes, currency conversion, refunds, chargebacks, and any adjustments.
Refunds and Holds
Refunded or revoked purchases do not generate payable creator earnings. If a refund occurs before payout, the associated calculated balance is reversed. If an eligible refund occurs after an amount has already been paid to the creator, Hoyro may recover that amount from a future creator payout. Hoyro may hold calculated earnings before they become payout eligible to allow for refunds or other required adjustments.
Payout Requests
The payout workflow requires at least USD $25.00 in eligible calculated earnings before a creator can request payout and permits only one open request at a time. A payout is complete only when Hoyro records that payment has been made through an approved external payout method.
Before public creator sales, creators must complete any identity, tax, and payout-account onboarding required by Hoyro or its payout processor.
Creator Responsibilities
Creators represent that they own or have permission to publish all program content and imagery, that their content does not infringe third-party rights, and that it does not make unsafe or prohibited health claims. Creators are responsible for applicable taxes on amounts paid to them.
Changes
Hoyro may revise these terms. Material revisions require acceptance of a new version before additional payout requests may be submitted.
